In this class you are getting access to two great teachers! Myself, Kaity Ryan from Forest Lore and Jen Chapman from Dramatic evolution!

We will go over the different types of chalk and clay base paints and how their formulas are different. After the introduction, we will begin painting. We will teach you prep of your piece, painting, blending and how to seal your work.

I provide the paint, a Daydream Apothecary chalk paint brush ($25 value), fine mist sprayers and instruction.

You bring a small piece to paint, some examples are a small end table, large picture frame, a decorative wall shelf. 

If you are having trouble finding something to paint, come to The Shops before class and you will have plenty of options! 

We do take breaks during class, while paint is drying. This will give you time to look around, grab food and a drink from the cafe and restroom breaks.

These classes are a safe and supportive community, where you will meet other like-minded individuals and you can explore your creativity. Most people move on after this class to take my other technique driven classes to expand their skill set. 

Whether you want to try this for fun, you want to paint some pieces for your home or are thinking about revamping furniture as a business, all are welcome!
